Day 1: Siem Reap – Battambong

At 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel by an English-speaking driver with a private car and transferred to Battambang (3 and half hour's drive)—Check-in at the centrally located hotel. 2:00 PM, meet up with your English-speaking guide in Battambang for the guided tour of the city orientation for the governor's residence, Elephant Pagoda, and Psar Nat (central market). Continuing to the striking hilltop temples of Phnom Sampeau & Phnom Banan, several caves dissect this massive limestone outcrop, some more accessible than others, with some containing unexpected reminders of Cambodia’s history. Enjoy the Bamboo train ride at Phnom Bannan and in the evening, watch bats coming out from the cave for their night food hunting at Phnom Sampeau.

Day 2: Battambong – Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, take the half-day tour to the countryside of Battambang to learn from local families about how they make traditional products such as rice noodles, rice paper, dried bananas, bamboo sticky rice, fish paste, and rice wine. Taste and experience the pleasures of these products fresh off the fire. Spend some relaxing time in a traditional Khmer house enjoying seasonal fruits and coconut water. Noon, check out, and lunch break around town.  In the afternoon, transfer back to Siem Reap by English-speaking driver with a private car.  Upon arrival at Siem Reap, check in the hotel.
