Temple Chheu Khmao is situated 54.10 kilometers from the provincial capital of Battambang along the Tonle Sap Lake's flooded forest area on a hill in Koh Chi Veang village, Prey Chas commune, Ek Phnom district. Wat Chheu Khmao was constructed in 1887 during the rule of Chief Inspector Soeur. The Prey Ronam region contains the historic pagoda known as Wat Chheu Khmao. This temple appears to be a temple in the middle of a forest that stands out in the open during the dry season. There is a boat on this hill that has been there since the pagoda's construction. It is fashioned of the koki wood that grows there and has the ability to never lose a race. Also, it draws more visitors during both the dry and the wet seasons.
