ប្រាសាទបន្ទាយធំ ស្ថិតនៅចម្ងាយប្រហែល២គ.មខាងជើងភូមិអង្គរក្រៅ។ ប្រាសាទនេះសង់ពីថ្មភក់មាន តួប៉មបីបែរទៅខាងកើត។ តាមក្បាច់ចម្លាក់លម្អនៅលើប្រាសាទគឺស្ថិតនៅក្នុងរចនាប័ទ្មបាយ័នក្នុងរាជរបស់ព្រះបាទជ័យវរ្ន័នទី៧ប្រាសាទបន្ទាយធំជាឈ្មោះសំដៅទៅលើទីកន្លែងរបស់ប្រាសាទដែលមាន កំពែងព័ទ្ធជុំវិញធំ ហើយខ្ពស់សង់ពីថ្មបាយក្រៀមកម្ពស់ ៣ម និងប្រវែង១៣០មនៅខាងក្នុងមានថែវព័ទ្ធជុំវិញមួយជុំទៀតធ្វើអំពីថ្មបាយក្រៀមព័ទ្ធជុំវីញដោយគូទឹកយ៉ាងធំ។
Banteay Thom temple is located about 2 kilometers north of Angkor Krao village. It is made of sandstone and has three towers that face east.
