Vihear Prampi Lveng is south of the Victory Gate. Originally, the temple had a statue of Buddha protected by a naga, but the statute was removed and later discovered in 1933 at the Bayon temple. In 1935, King Sisowath Monivong returned the statue to Vihear Prampi Lveng. The temple was given its name because there are seven sections from the entrance to the place where the statue is kept.
