At 8:00 am pick up from your hotel to one of the most beautiful Ta Prohm temples, which is embraced by the roots of enormous strangler fig trees. It is well-known as the Tomb Raider II movie filmed inside. From there, drive to Angkor Thom city, which is the last capital city of the Khmer Empire by driving through Victory Gate. Visit the Elephant Terrace & the terrace of Leper King, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Baphuon, and the impressive Bayon temple. Then move to the South Gate before having a lunch break. Noon, lunch break (there are many local restaurants available around the temples with local and Asian Foods, your guide would be happy to recommend you a good one. Or you might want to go back to town or hotel for a break) in the afternoon, and visit Angkor Wat, the most incredible temple and the largest religious site in the world. Depending on the weather, you might catch a good sunset. You will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the day.
Around 8:00 am pick up from your hotel to visit the Grand Circuit temple including Preah Khan, the ancient Buddhist University. Then move to Neak Pean, the island temple in the ancient water reservoir, and visit East Mebon temple. Noon, lunch break (there are many local restaurants available around the temples with local and Asian foods), your guide would be happy to recommend you a good one. After lunch, visit Banteay Srei temple, which is also known as one of the most beautiful temples because of its intricate carvings from pink sandstones. Banteay Srei means citadel of women, which is about 37 km from Siem Reap. On the way back, you will visit the daily life of farmers who produce sugar palm and you will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.
At 8:00 am pick up from your hotel to visit the Roluos group of temples including the 3 monuments, which served as the former capital “Hari-Hara” dating back to the 9th century. Preah Ko is a Hindu temple dedicated to the king's ancestors. Continue to Bakhong, which is the largest and the most interesting of the Roluos group temples with its active Buddhist monastery. Lastly, Lolei is the four brick towers in the center of the ancient reservoir. Continue to visit the fishing community of Kampong Phluk by taking a wooden boat along the flooding forests where you can experience the traditional houses on the stilt and the daily life of the fishermen on the lake of Tonle Sap. Late lunch break at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive back to town and you will be dropped off at your hotel.
