At 8:00 am you will be picked up from your hotel for a day sightseeing in Phnom Penh to visit the most highlights of Phnom Penh including the Royal Palace, a compound built in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, which is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colorful Khmer-style Palaces. Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), displays plenty of Buddha Statues that were decorated and made of diamond, emerald, gold, and silver. Continue to visit the notorious genocide Tuol Sleng Museum. the museum displays include room after room of these photographs of men, women, and children covering the walls from floor to ceiling; virtually all the people tortured were later killed. after a lunch break on the spot, continue to the Killing Field of Cheng Ek, the site where Khmer Rouge soldiers killed the innocents after imprisoning and torturing them in Tuol Sleng. The visit to these sites provides us with a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. Transfer back to the hotel, and overnight in Phnom Penh.
