8:00 am your guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and brief you on the schedule and routing. Jump in the jeep and drive to the Grand Circuit temples, and visit Preah Khan, the ancient Buddhist University. Then move to Neak Pean, the island temple in the ancient water reservoir, and visit East Mebon temple. Noon, lunch break (there are many local restaurants available around the temples with local and Asian Foods, your guide would be happy to recommend you a good one. After lunch, drive to Banteay Srei temple, which is also known as one of the most beautiful temples because of its intricate carvings from pink sandstones. Banteay Srei means citadel of women, which is about 37 km from Siem Reap. On the way back, you will visit the daily life of farmers who produce sugar palm and you will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.
