Day 1: Small tour of temples with sunset
We should depart at 8:00 am from your accommodation and before taking you to the Angkor Archaeological Park, we will take you to buy the Angkor pass first and drive you to the last ancient capital city of the Khmer Empire names Angkor Thom (Gigantic city) to visit beautiful stone temples such as Bayon (temple with many smiling faces), Terrace of Elephant, Royal Palace area, Terrace of Leper King and Baphoun (it is considered as a largest Hindu temple in Angkor Thom). We will have lunch at a local restaurant opposite the Angkor Wat temple. After enjoying your lunch, we continue to explore the most spectacular Angkor Wat temple. If you prefer to watch the sunset, the best spot is Phnom Bakheng Hill and we should arrive at the mountain's top before 4:30 pm.
Day 2: Kulen Mountain and Tonle Sap Lake
You can enjoy your breakfast before we start our journey from your hotel at 8:00 am to Kulen National Park. We will bring you to see a huge reclining Buddha stone statue that was built in the 16th century, the largest waterfall in Cambodia, and a river of a thousand Shiva lingams (It is considered a holy river for Khmer people). We will stop on the way for lunch before we go to the red sandstone temple, Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women), Tonle Sap Lake, and Floating Village. We will pass by many remote villages. We can stop if you want to take some photos of the local people. We highly recommend that you watch the Cambodian circus which starts at 8:00 pm.
Day 3: Grand tour of temples with sunrise
Please ask your hotel’s staff to pack a takeaway breakfast and we will pick you up at 4:40 am for the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat temple. To avoid the crowd, we will start to visit the jungle temple of Ta Prohm known as ‘’Tomb raider temple” early and continue with other temples like Preah Khan (Father temple), Neak Pean Ta Som (Tree’s Temple), East Mebon (10th-century brick temple) and Pre Rup temple is known as temple royal crematorium. Drop you off at your hotel.
