At 8:00 am you will be picked up from the hotel by your guide and driver for a one-hour drive to Beng Mealea, which is one of the mysterious temples of Angkor. Beng Mealea, located about 60 km from Siem Reap, was built in the middle of the 12th century, with later additions in the reign of Suryavarman II with the style of Angkor Wat and dedicated to Hinduism. The sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation. You’ll have time for an in-depth exploration of this temple, taking an unusual route to see parts of these ruins seldom visited. This temple is more accessible for you to the different parts of the entire temple where you can scramble over the tumbled blocks and traverse the walls of the temple. Lunch break (there are many local restaurants available around the temples with local and Asian Foods, your guide would be happy to recommend you a good one. After lunch, drive back to Siem Reap, arrive at Siem Reap around 12:00 pm and the tour ends at your hotel.
