You will be picked up from the hotel between 7:30 am to 8:00 am and spend the full day exploring one of the largest and most beautiful temple complexes in the world. This World Heritage Site is a journey through mysterious and magnificent structures. First, we visit Angkor Wat and walk through one of the most important of the no less than 110 temples. Learn about the history of the monument as the world's largest religious site with your expert guide. Then, we take a short drive to the Angkor Thom temple complex, which includes the 12th-century Bayon. The 54 four-headed Buddha statues are one of the most impressive sights of this temple complex. Enjoy lunch at your own expense, and then visit the Ta Prohm temple, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots. It was also used as a backdrop for the film Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. When the sky starts to darken, this is the perfect time to head to Phnom Bakheng and take in a memorable sunset.
