3:30 pm your guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and brief you on the schedule and routing. Then, jump in the jeep driving for the city orientation including the Royal Residence and Wat Bo monastery. After that, we drive to the checkpoint in order to purchase the temple ticket which we use for visiting the temples. Watch the sunset of a 10th-century Hindu temple, Pre Rup, for an overview of Khmer architecture from brick, laterite, and sunstone materials at the end of the day. After sunset, we drove back to the hotel.
4:30 am pick up from your hotel, begin with sunrise at Angkor Wat, you will be amazed by the peace and quiet before the major tour groups arrive. Contemplate the meaning as the sun gently washes over the jungle, and your guide begins to share the story of this remarkable place. Angkor Wat means "City of Pagoda" and was changed from the original Parama Vishnuloka. As the sun moves higher, you will head to the beautiful Ta Prohm temple, which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees in the jungle; it is well-known as Tomb Raider filmed inside. Drive to Banteay Srei 45 minutes away to visit the most beautiful intricate carving temple in the country. Banteay Srei means city of women and is known as the pink sandstone temple was built in the 10th century. It's a well-preserved temple. Continuing, visit the impressive Bayon temple, located in the heart of Angkor Thom, which served as the state temple of King Jayavarman IV. Bayon consists of 49 towers with 4 gigantic faces of Buddha/gods that represent 4 divine states of mine Love, Compassion, Sympathy, and Equanimity. It's time to learn the principles of Buddhism and the daily lives of Khmer peoples, which are carved on the stones of Bayon. Returning to the city, the tour ends at the hotel.
